Bolsøy, Tustna, Veøy ferries
On the summer tourist line Geiranger-Hellesylt operate three ferries built at the Hjørungavaag shipyard in the 70s. These are the oldest ships of the company Fjord1, they worked for a long time on the main crossings, but they have long been replaced by more modern and spacious ferries.
The 1977 Tustna ferry, the smallest of the three, has a deadweight of 677 tons.
The Bolsøy ferry was built in 1971 and has a displacement of 989 tons.
Passenger lounge of the Bolsøy ferry. I had a chance to make a small cruise along the Geirangerfjord on this ship in August 2013.
Ferry Veøy near the "Seven sisters" waterfalls. This vessel was launched in 1974 and the largest on the route, its deadweight of 1137 tons.
